NO2ID, the national umbrella group against |
A Hammersmith and Fulham Group was founded in May 2005. It was a broadly-based local campaign to stop the introduction of ID cards and a large-scale population tracking system (Database State, National Identity Register). |
The group had a busy ten months before the Identity Cards Act, 2006, was passed. Work commitments limited activities between 2006-8, but the group revived in 2009.
